All The New England Girls | Shelby York Barnhart & Fat Maverick's
I call myself The New England Girl. It's not only my business name but my identity. The truth though; I know a handful of real "New England Girls" that deserve the title just as much as I do. Shelby Barnhart is one of them. Not only is Shelby an amazing welder and metal fabricator, but a real innovator and entrepreneur. Her new brand, Fat Maverick's offer's USA handmade products for any true outdoorsmen. Currently Fat Maverick's retails handmade boot butter and tartan dog collars, in the future they hope to manufacture more items including clothing and a larger pet line.
Below, is an example of the boot butter. One of the reasons Shelby created this amazing product is because she was tired of overly manufactured products that smelled terrible and featured a high chemical composition. Her boot butter is all natural, and petroleum free. The difference is in the recipe + and the photos!
And, can I just say how absolutely adorable this logo is? Maverick is one of Shelby's dogs, the inspiration behind this line. How sweet. I had to get a chuckle thinking about my little guy, Francis. If he had a line what would it be? Tutu's and Tiaras? We all know he's a diva.
There's no stopping this bad-ass New England Girl. Shelby was most recently featured on the cover of Valley Life Magazine, for her wide array of welding and fabrication skills, but I know it will only be a matter of time before she's known just as well for Fat Mavericks. As her brand continues to grow she is always looking for support to help aid in the costs of getting the word out there, we all know how expensive advertising can be! and remember, 2016 is the year to support local & handmade!
